The food is good and my parrot fist just love them... I could see much improvement in size. The color of the parrot fish depends on surroundings... when your fish gets afraid the color turns back. So no food will change the color of the fish. The only negative point is the color that gets sediment on the bottom and that gets filled in filters as well.

This is my second time purchase. I have tried taiyo okena speedy red fish food compared to that it's 1k times better. Instant color results will appear in your pets. Continuous usage must be there otherwise the fish loses its color. Pets love the food. Bit expensive but worth the money.

My parrots are healthy and also maintain their intense orange color as I continuously feed them Hikari Blood Red Parrot pellets. I once tried optimum quick red food and they didn't liked it. I think the quality of Hikari is good and so my parrot cichlids are addicted and they didn't like other food taste. If you own parrot fish and you see they become pale in color, this will enhance their color for sure. You have to feed them atleast 3-4 weeks to see the results.

The food was delivered with a huge hole in the pack due to which close to a 100 grams of food went waste. Unfortunately, the product cannot be returned and hence I have to absorb the loss. Hopefully the remaining food will be of good quality. Will update the review after a couple of months use. Edit: Quality of the food is very good. My two parrots and green terrors are displaying marked improvement in color. Reduced one star for the damaged packet that was delivered.

I have two blood red parrots (aged 2 years), and I've been feeding them this food for quite some time. Both my fishes love this food and readily eat it. All this time, they've been very healthy and active, and I love the red color of my fishes. I'm not sure if the food really imparts a lot of red color to the fishes, as mentioned in some other reviews, since one of my fishes is slightly lighter in color, and has remained so for the duration I've had it, despite feeding it this food continuously. However, I think it still helps maintain the color of fishes and is also healthy food for fishes. The food is available in Mini and Medium sizes. If your fish is anywhere less than 3 inches (Body size only), I would recommend you to get 'Mini' size else they'll have a slight problem swallowing the food, since 'Medium' size is a bit larger. To be on the safer side, I always buy the 'Mini' size only even though my fishes are much larger now. Please see attached product pictures, and also the pellet size against a scale to have a fair idea about 'Mini' size pellets. Hope this review helped you. Thank you.
