Using it for my Labrador. It makes him feel very uncomfortable when it is used on him and he refuses to get brushed. However, the mechanical functionality of the brush is good. Works like a charm.

I've a Shih Tzu and this thing comes her fur perfectly good. Works fine for everyday use on your dog. Easy to clean. Feels like nothing at all to clean due to the retractable feature. But not recommended for matted hair

Very flimsy. The comb is way too thin and you might ruin it if you are too rough with it.
But cleaning the comb itself is very easy.

Good brush, easy to clean. Bristles look sharp but if used carefully, they do not harm the skin. My dog likes getting massage with it...

The bristles are very hard. Would recommend not to use this on puppies or kittens, but only on adult pets.

This slicker brush is really good. My dogs enjoy getting themselves brushed. Best part is that cleaning is very easy. I highly recommend this one. I bought this one for 500 which is high. So please keep the brush away from your pals since they doesn't know that they are costly.

Removes all dead hair
Sometimes i feel it is slightly painful for the dog, bristles of brush are little sharp. Dog doens't enjoy brushing time, as I thought he would.

It is a good hair brush.. been using it for over a month for my german shepherd puppy who is now 4 months old. But the bristle retraction function has stopped working in a month's use

I have two GSDs and this brush made my life easy. Its very easy to use and clean as well. The needle like teeth looked scary the dogs seemed to have no issues. Very helpful when the dogs are shedding. Totally value for money.

Decent brush. Got it for my cat and he doesn't particularly like it. It's very easy to use and clean. The metal bristles won't last that long but they do the job.

This sleeker is the best when it comes for removing disrt and small hairs specially... With just a light press it removes all the loose hairs and cleans deep to the skin removing dirt and dead skin... The points are also blunt so it doesn't harm my dogs skin, he simply enjoys the process and cleaning is also very easy, just on a press of button... Value for money product

Its been a pretty good product this far!We have 8 dogs with a good mix of fur thickness and length. The brush works well for a dog with heavy thick fur. If your pooch has dry skin or and itchy one stay away from using this as it would irritate the skin further. Super easy to get brushed loose hair off, and easy to wipe down with a spirt swab for next use. A larger paddle would be apt for a larger dog, but this is pretty handy.
Good purchase would recommend buying one.
My bristles were slightly bent on opening, but does not make a massive difference.

The brush is made of good quality plastic however design is poor, especially the brushles as those are too thin and are needle like. My dog isn't comfortable and started getting scared, running away from the brush.

Is this product genuine ? I doubt because there is no ' foodie puppies' brand logo on it. In other reviews there is a tag and keychain that people show off. This product says smart pets.
Made in Taiwan is common though .

This groomer is a wonderful product for those who have hairy dog/cat and also people who have short hair dog/car can also use it.
I can maintain hair inside my house so good by using it and i find so helpful by this.
The usage was so simple and easy to clean
My dog loved it and he stand without any problem while I'm comping thought this.

I have a golden retriever it has an extremely long coat...this brush is easy to use...good thumb grip, also really easy to clean...there is a button & liver for cleaning it..just press the button & pull down the liver & the bristles go inside....take of the hair & it is just like new...highly recommended for every coat

Dog's need regular combing, and while a normal comb is good for the outer coat, they typically need a combing of the inner coat layer as well. This helps them breathe, remove dead skin (so I have heard), and makes them shed less fur all over the house. This brush is perfect for that. Works well, bristles are deep to go into the fur, retractable for easy cleaning, and bristles are sharp but not so sharp that they hurt the skin. Do look at the size of the brush before ordering. If you have a large dog, then a larger brush would help you save time.

I thought that my cat hated grooming. Little did I know that I used the wrong kind of brush. Slicker brushes work great on furry cats to keep the coat healthy.
My cat loves this brush. Previously he'd run away when I'd try grooming him. It's also really easy to clean the hair that's stuck to the bristles. Just go for it. Worth the buy.

I bought this product for my golden retriever. It is metallic needle type brush. The needles are @ 1/2 inch long, very thin and a bit sharp. You really need to be very very careful while brushing. Brushing should be done light handedly else you may end up hurting the dogs skin badly. My dog particularly did not like it at all. Due to my dogs excessive shedding I need to brush it daily. I have used many brushes but the best my dog liked is big simple human comb. He goes off to sleep while me combing him, and allows me to comb as much I want. Comb also removes more lose hair than the brush. Brush is more easy to clean. I am attaching a pic of the brush and comb.

My kitten loves being combed with this brush.. And it easily pulls dead hair.. The brush hairs ain't very sharp or harsh on kittens.. And the best part is its very easy to clean it after the brushing.. Cus it is a 2 mans job to pull out hair from the regular brush.. Worth the price.
And they also gave a keychain as gift...thankyou

?After readind so many reviews and comments i brougt one for my golden retriever it is osm....and the button mechanism is osm...An...superb brush which pulls out every dead hai....without falling a single piece on the floor. Only thing is it is so small in size but...it is mentioned there so cant complain about it...attaching photo with this review.
