When I received it, I was confused as I didnt know I have to "assemble" it. But once I was able to figure it, it was fun to build. Very fine & strong, durable quality product (looks imported & not China made) to see & touch & now that I have been using it not only to transport my kittens when ai am travelling but also to make them sleep by placing a blanket inside. The latchable swung door opens both ways, there is also an opening with cover on its top (maybe for giving food). Also, the box has ample amount of grills/ openings its sides for the animal to breathe & see outside.

Happy with the size. My kittens are 4 months old, both of them are loving it. I have put their bed inside the carrier and now they have a house.

The carrier was received disassembled and packed nicely to avoid any scratches and damages. The assembly instructions are pictorial and easy to follow. The only thing that refused to cooperate is the handle. I just couldn't put it in the grooves and when a little force was applied, one of the handle hinges snapped off. The carrier is difficult to manage without the top handle and now I'm left wondering how to carry the carrier without the top handle. Edit: I contacted the seller and they've graciously offered to send in a replacement. Pet Monks, thank you for being so proactive! :)

Excellent! It's quite expensive by comparisons to all the others out there but you are paying for quality here! If you know how to assemble IKEA furniture then you'll be able to assemble this blindfolded with your hands tied behind your back! It's constructed with some kind of tough ABS type plastic. The front gate is lockable by four swivel type plastic knobs, which took me a few attempts to get the hang of. It's comfortable to carry around and has heaps of ventilation. I'm confident that this carrier will stand the rest of time! The only relatively minor issue that I have is that I wish they built in a holder for the front gate. We remove the front grill so it can serve as a cat house too. So, I have too ensure I keep the front grill somewhere safe and accessible. Not a deal breaker though! If you've got a new kitten get this one, it might be a bit on the pricey side, but it will last you years. Just get one!
