Do wild birds have worms?

Birds usually ingest worm eggs while foraging in an infected area but there is always the chance that the infected area will be brought to them in the form of branches, feather or dropping dust , wild birds or even a new cage mate . These parasites are experts of infiltration. It occurs very easily. Vetafarm Wormout Gel is a water-soluble bird wormer for use in water or given directly to the bird via a crop needle. Wormout Gel should NOT be mixed with other treatments or supplements.

Effectively kills all intestinal worms including roundworm, hookworm, caecal worm, threadworm, and tapeworm. Completely safe and can be mixed with a small amount of orange juice for fussy drinkers.

Wormout Gel effectively kills all intestinal worms including Thread Worm (Capillaria spp.), Tapeworm (Raillietina spp., Choanotaenia spp.), Roundworm (Ascaridia spp.), Caecal Worm (Heterakis gallinarum), Hook Worm (Acuaria spp.).

This in-drinking water treatment can be mixed with a small amount of orange juice for fussy drinkers or given via a direct crop needle dose.

Recommended For:
Use as an all-wormer in birds.
